Do you remember those boring briefings you have to watch each time you board on a plane? Sometimes they are projected as movies on a screen, some other times there’s the cabin crew showing you what to do in various emergency cases. Either way, after flying a few times, they all become dull, because you already know what that’s about.
Air New Zealand has a new one, which is so cool, it will grab your attention most probably. Just watch it and tell me what you think:
This Hobbit inspired safety briefing is up on YouTube and it comes with a surprise: if you visit http://www.airnzcode.com/hobbitmovie you can find and unlock Elvish Code. You’ll ask me what’s this Elvish Code good for. It gives you a chance to win a double pass to the World Premiere Screening of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in New Zealand. The premiere screening will take place on the 28th of November 2012. There are only six such passes available in this contest, so the chances of winning one of them are pretty small, but who knows?
It’s worth a try, isn’t it?
