Jumping Insect – Grasshopper Just Before the Big Leap

This is one of the million insects I encountered in Dion, Greece. These old Greek ruins are somehow cool, but they are not what makes this spot worth finding. The wildlife surrounding the ancient citadel was worth all the effort. This grasshopper, or whatever other insect it is, was only one of the million wonders of nature we’ve seen in Dion. The dragonflies were also pretty amazing, but hard to capture in photos. If you want to go to Dion, you’d better have a navigation system with you or book an organized tour.
