Art on Cows Brussels
In my weekend getaway to Brussels, I witnessed an unusual art exhibition: Art on Cows. The happy cows were spread across the entire city, with a bigger concentration in the Atomium area. I took several photos, because I thought the idea was cool. It seems many people thought it was cool, because I started to notice such colorful cows in Bucharest, then I met them in Switzerland, in Lugano.
Anyway, here are the cows I met in Brussels in the summer of 2003 (I can’t believe this was 15 years ago already):
The clown cow
The dressed-up cow (it seems her date has just arrived)
The shopping addict cow – this one was at the entrance of a big shopping gallery, probably waiting for the opening hour
The golden cow – so glaring that my camera refused to focus
The judge – justice above all!
Abstract pattern cow
Purple cow – so tired, it can’t stand anymore
Still nature with plants and fish on cows
The submarine – how fast do you think this one sinks?
The Mad Cow (La Vache Folle) playing the horse for the little kid
The office cow
Just another green spotted cow – it looks like this one’s got a lot of milk
Simply grass – this one was protected by a glass container
What do you think? Do you like this kind of art? Is it better than graffiti? Have you seen the cows elsewhere in the world?
