Main Topics of Best Beaches in Kusadasi
Among all beaches in Kusadasi, I still remember Ladies Beach and Long Beach, long, sandy stripes with crystal clear water and perfect beachfront restaurants.
After doing some research, I’ve come to the conclusion that smaller beaches near Kusadasi can become overcrowded, especially during weekends, when everybody and their dog want to chill by the beach.
Here is a list of the main beaches in Kusadasi, Turkey along with a brief description of their sand, water, amenities, and nearby hotels.
1. Ladies Beach
Located in the city center of Kusadasi, Ladies Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the area. The beach is approximately 2 kilometers long with fine golden sand and crystal-clear water.
Ladies beach offers a range of water sports activities such as jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boating. There are also plenty of amenities such as sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, and changing rooms.
There are also many cafes and restaurants along the beach promenade. You can spend the full day at the beach, if that’s your idea of a relaxing vacation. The water is clean, the bottom of the sea is soft and the sea is calm. This makes it a very convenient choice for families with children.
Ladies beach Kusadasi is one of the best spots to watch the sunset on the Turkish west coast. What I like most about the Turkish riviera and the Aegean Sea is that the sun sets over water.
The downside of Ladies beach is that it can get very crowded, particularly during high season. The photo by the top of this article is taken on Ladies beach Kusadasi. As you can see, there’s not much room on the beach to feel at ease.
Hotels near Ladies Beach Kusadasi:
- Le Bleu Hotel & Resort Kusadasi: seafront, ultra all inclusive resort with buffet and a la carte restaurants, and private beach
- Gultepe Apartments: excellent beachfront location, swimming pool, spacious apartments, very good reviews from other travelers
Click here to see the Ladies beach location on Google Maps. On some maps, you’ll find it under the name of Kadanlar Denizi Plaji.
2. Long Beach
Long Beach is a beautiful, wide sandy beach that stretches for 18 kilometers. The water here is crystal clear and ideal for swimming. There are plenty of amenities on the beach, including sun loungers, umbrellas, and water sports equipment for rent.
There are also many cafes and restaurants along the beach promenade. In fact, each of these restaurants gave the name of different sections of the beach. There’s Güzelcamlı Venüs Beach at the bottom of the sandy stripe, then Sevgi Plaji or Love Beach, Davutlar Beach, and Kusadasi Sahilevleri Plaji.
Long Beach Kusadasi is perfect for long walks and is relatively quiet compared to Ladies Beach.
There are a few water sports activities available such as jet skiing and parasailing. There are also a few beach bars and restaurants nearby.
I enjoyed Long Beach more than Ladies Beach. In fact, I stayed in this area not once, but twice, just to enjoy this wonderful Kusadasi beach..

Hotels nearby Long Beach:

- Villa Sevilla – this accommodation is located 700 m from Long beach and 25km from Ephesus
- Atlantique Holiday Club – nice spa center with Turkish bath and massage services, free private parking and a children’s playground
3. Green Beach
Once a public beach, this spot is now one of the newest beach clubs in Kusadasi. Built on three floors, this complex spreads over a fairly large area. It includes a restaurant where you can have breakfast or lunch without having to leave the beach.
There’s an entrance fee to Green Beach (which only grants you a bottle of water), but the ratio quality/price is very good.
4. Pigalle Beach
Pigalle Plaji is a public beach north of Kusadasi, near to Tusan Beach resort.
Pigalle Beach has sunbeds and umbrellas
5. Icmeler Koyu
Icmeler Koyu is a small sandy beach in Guzelkamli National Park, south of Kusadasi.
The shallow water makes this cove perfect for children.
There are restaurants in the area, so you don’t need to pack sandwiches to enjoy a day at this beach. Parking is possible.
Here’s the location of this Kusadasi beach on the map.
I prefer the beaches south of Kusadasi because they are less crowded, they have better sand and they are surrounded by natural features such as forests.
