Silves, the former capital of Algarve, is situated in Southern Portugal. This area is known for its production of avocado.

Castelo dos Mouros (The Moorish Castle) is a reminiscence from the times when Moors invaded Iberia. I still remember how difficult it was to find a parking spot nearby. I’ve seen this castle during my road trip to Sagres and to Cape Saint Vincent. I was living in Pera and I took this road trip to visit the southern coast of Portugal.
